Question Caddis wing on plastic tape

Does anyone recall the video showing making Caddis wing by bonding a feather onto plastic packaging tape? I forgot the details. Thanks.

Try googling Karl Richards caddis patterns. He talks of this pattern in one of his co-authored books. I read it from the library and can't remember the title.
I can think of few acts more selfish than refusing a vaccination.

Never liked the method myself, but youtube.com has at least a couple of examples:

They look great, but are heavy, and tend to sink the fly in my experience.

Thanks Whatfly, that's what I was seeking but I didn't think about the floatation concern.

in the 90's Tyvek, or whatever that moisture barrier material they use on new construction homes was a really popular winging material for caddis for a while.

Also, the famous "Zing Wing" fly, I think by John Betts was popular with a sort of a cellophane material for the wings.

On his CD, Tony Spezio uses the a similar wing method mentioned by Silver Creek except that he uses a hen feather, of various colors, rather than the dryer sheet. He uses prism or other flash dubbing for the body without hackle ribbing. I have tied and fished Tony's version of the fly, in various colors, and it is not too heavy and very effective. I think you can still get his CDs by emailing him at flytybob17@netscape.net. Tony is one of the founders of the annual Sow Bug meeting in Mountain Home, AR. Most of you know of him I'm sure.
