Like Father....Like Son
Had to laugh at this. My son, who lives in Chile, is preparing for a fishing trip down in the Patagonia Region. Anyway, he just sent these two unflattering pictures of he and I on other trips trying to handle a couple big browns..........
They can be hard to hold carefully in order to get a quick photo!!!!

A little tuff in the water, the WALK AWAY lesson. Two summers ago Hooked a nice 20 to 22 inch trout on Flaming gorge, not fly fishing, from the shore. Got it in the net, first hook out, pliers on the second one fish flips, hook out fish out of net into the water. An old friend walks up about ten minutes later laughing and says " you learned the wake away lesson, Wake Away From The Water when you get the big one," I asked " The voice of experience?" He wouldn't say because I would tell his wife and she would rub it in again.

We were able to maintain the fish long enough to get nice photos, but it was a struggle because you don't want to harm the beautiful fish.

Those are beautiful. That's great that you and your son have such wonderful fishing adventures.
