I have actually been playing around & found some open water to test on. It's now paired it with another line which seems an even better fit. I've got a Cortland 555 DT 5wt On a Cortland Retro II. I think I'm there.Now, if Spring would just cooperate!

After a day on the water and a myriad of different patterns offered, I will say that this rod is one of the nicest I have ever taken to the water. Quite honestly cannot say enough about about it. It played large fish very effectively for 7 feet of glass.
