Hey, thanks, Brad! That is good to know. Makes me wonder what a Furled Leader made from 4 pound test SOS would test out at since that leader you tested was made from 2 pound test SOS!!
I really appreciated the information you provided.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
Warren,
Results are posted to your question by Brad. I made mine from 4-pound SOS (first time using it) and according to Brad excellent report; intact @ 15#

They say there are no stupid questions. GUESS WHAT, I can't think of what SOS stands for. Would someone please enlighten me ?
SOS is a brand of mono produced by Leland's Lures. It comes in 2, 4, and 6 pound test. I use it for my tippet material too. It seems very strong and is limp. The SOS stands for: S strong O obscure S small. It comes on a spool containing 350 yards for around $5. This is the same company that produces the Trout Magnet lure that spinner fishermen use.
