Default My Good News/Bad News for the Idaho Fish-In

I'm really bummed that my daughter, Melissa, and her husband, Phil, won't be able to attend this years Idaho Fish-In. Seems that they need to save their money for diapers, footy jammies and the like.

The good news is that I'm gonna be a Grampa. Melissa has her first doctor's appointment during the Fish-In so if I make daily trips to get to a cell phone reception site, don't mind me. My first time as a Grampa.

Congratulations Gramps. Tell Vickie I'm happy for her too.

I too am a Grandfather twice and remembered when I found out, it really put things into perspective. Showed me that I was no longer and teenager but, when playing with them, I again feel as a teenager. It is a wonderful thing being a Grandfather. The best part as oppossed to being a parent is, they go home after the visit. LOL. Seriously though, congratulations.

Congratulation REE and VEE. My friends tell me if they had known grandkids were so much fun they would have had them first.
