One could do a trip on the Teton out of Driggs. A guide operating there used to post here with some frequency.

Another choice not mentioned is a float on the S. Fork of the Snake in ID. It would entail a little driving, but not too bad.

There is a lot of stuff in Wyoming that has not been mentioned. When in that area, there are many, many choices, and sometimes the smaller water is more fun because you will see few others on it.

Also, if anyone could comment on the guides/lodges listed below?

    Trouthunter
    Fire Hole Ranch
    Madison Valley Ranch

They all look like first class outfits, but could use opinions from anyone who has used them.

    Thank you!

Did a trip on the Madison a couple of summers ago with Jim Mullen from Trout Hunter in Island Park, ID. Couldn't have been happier.

Unfortunately that guide, Rob Merrill passed away last fall; drowned in a drift boat accident, although he was able to save his clients lives. Heck of a guy, a very tragic loss. The shop he worked out of, Three Rivers Ranch is a decent outfit; guys there put us onto some good fishing last fall.

    Regards,
    Scott

ps - although Wally won't blow his own horn, his shop, Parks, in Gardiner is a real good one and where I'd recommend if you're looking to fish the Upper Yellowstone or the north end of the Park. For the Madison, I'd recommend Blue Ribbon in W-Yell; Craig Mathews runs a great shop.
