Question rather confused.... authors' emails nonexistent?

am so confused. I tried to e-mail Al Campbell, to tell him thank you for all the wonderful tying lessons and the time he took to make them, but my e-mail was returned as undeliverable.

Then I tried to e-mail Steven McGarthwaite with an answer to his question about thinking outside the square box (here - http://www.flyanglersonline.com/flyt...ps/part108.php) His e-mail address listed was ParnelliMN@aol.com and I e-mail my answer and again it was returned as undeliverable...

I feel very confused that all of the articles seem to be no longer active. What's going on?

    Hi AlbaSurf,

Al passed away a few years ago now. We are very fortunate to have his great tying lessons preserved here for all to learn from. They are great.

As for Steve, he still posts here, so you could try searching for him and sending him a private message rather than e-mail. Perhaps he doesn't use that one any more?

Steve's email is parnelli at comcast dot net.

    Alba,
Don't feel alone. When I first started reading here, I, too fell in love with Al's articles. When I realized the last one was a couple of years old, I started searching the archives.
When I found the thread about his passing, I felt as though I had lost a friend.
I'm so sorry he has left us, but so very thankful that he gave us his legacy, and a way to bring others into this great past time.

Oh, that makes me so sad. Thanks for telling me. They are great lessons; I am so glad that they are available here.

Thanks for letting me know about Steve.
