Blank brand labels?

I bought a Scott blank for a 6 wt that I am going to build. I email Scott to ask them if they would provide me a Scott label to put on the blank. They said that they don't do that. This morning I saw picture of a Sage Z Axis that was built by a custom rod maker. It had the Sage brand label on there, as well as the custom maker's label.

Does Sage provide their labels with their blanks? Do other blank makers provide or not provide brand labels? Do you have to be an "established" custom builder, like someone that's officially in the business of building rods?

Wayne....Sage adds a "B" to their blank labels ...thereby indicating the obvious.

Some rod blank suppliers will provide a label some do not. I don't know their reasoning but then I don't want their name on something I built so I never use them

Question: who or where did you purchase the blank from?

I ordered a Lamiglas blank from Angler's Workshop and it came with a Lamiglas logo. I could choose to use it or not. I chose not to and I put my own label on it.

My local Fly shop ordered the blank for me. They sell Scott rods.

I would go back to that local fly shop and ask them about the decal.
