    Default Fabric Store Liquidation Fly

I was driving by a fabric store when I saw the going out of business signs. It had been picked pretty clean, but I found a couple 250 yard spools of metallic thread. Here is the wet fly I came up with. Think it'll get some fish?

I tie almost the exact same fly except I use midge diamond braid and partridge and it's a killer. I'm sure that fly will work.

Yup! Without a doubt. Looks pretty caddisy to me. Hmmm, caddisy, is that even a word? If not, it should be.

    Nice fly.

I think that should do quite nicely!

The sparkle in that thread kind of imitates the air bubbles that chironomids create in their bodies to aid them in flotation. I'm sure that bug will catch fish.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.
