    Default Fog day Afternoon

A fog hung over the river the entire day. fishing was good, blue wing olive mayflies size 20 to 22 hatched the entire day. 7x was stretched to the limit a time or two.

    Question Whereabouts

    7x -

Looks like a neat place, with or without the fog. Whereabouts ??

    John

P.S. We had a fellow from your neck of the woods at Jimmy's today tying small dries and emergers, lots of bwo and midge patterns, plus some larger patterns, more to demo techniques he uses - Chris Williams. REALLY good tier. Know him ??
    The fish are always right.

Beautiful river and great shots. Looks like rattlesnake country. What river is it? If you don't mind.
I love those foggy river photos.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.

    Talking Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful photos and a GREAT looking fly. I'm just not sure that I want to tackle any #22 hooks this afternoon. Maybe a couple of #8 Woolly Buggers and a little football. 8T

    7x,

Great pics of some very pretty country, and a nice fish to boot.

Those are some great flies. Beautifully tied. Is that a quill or biot body?

Nice meeting you in the chat.

REE, it was a pleasure meeting you as well. The flies are tied with biots shinny side out or notch left if you look at it that way.

Eight Thumbs tackle a #22 thats a good one! hope your game goes well
Dont forget to watch the Boise State Broncos play TCU.

Lotech, rattle snakes? i never see them but ive heard they will float the creek coiled like a spring. no kidding ive been told by a couple guys with a straight face that they see them in the water shaken the rattle.
