FINALLY!!!!

I was beginning to think there weren't any fish around!!! Me and my best friend hooked up on some nice bass! The first cast I caught a nice two pound bass! We fished all around the pond without another bite when my friend decided it MIGHT be a good idea to mention there was another pond!!! A little late! The second pond had perfect cover and looked much better than the first. Sure enough, we each caught bass instantly! Every time I pulled the hook out of one bass, he would be reeling in another bass! This happened a total of four times! Hopefully a good forecast to the season!

What, if I may ask, was the hot ticket? I've heard that slllooowww stripping streamers in this early season with the still, cooler water are excellent.

I was catching the bass on a chartruse minnow. I forgot the name of it but all it is, is some weight and then mylar tubing over your favorite bass hook. Then tie a long strip of bunny fur over that and your done!
