Well from some of the posts it looks like the MI fish in was a success! I was unable to attend though, and lately haven't been on the board. I recently moved and changed jobs, of course I timed it right around the fish-in, both in Canada and MI. I am really, really sorry, especially to Jack Hise, I did not get the flies sent up that I tied for the fish-in, there was a distinct chance that I was going to make it, but it did not work out. So, Jack, LF, Castwell, Betty, OhioTuber, Chris, Tyflier, Marco, and everyone else that I was really excited about meeting, I am sorry that I didn't make it. I WILL make a fish-in, and if there is one planned for Michigan next year, I will plan it on my schedule now! I am really excited to hear the reports from everyone. Betty we will have to meet up at one of the trout parks before the season is over or during the winter season, let me know!

Zim, ... I believe that the MI FI will be repeated, ... (judging from some of the comments flying around and some news I got from Jack H.

JC, ... we'll look into a Quebec one agin too, ... maybe in a later season to have the juvenile sea run trout at the rendez-vous

Michigan for the 2007 fish in sounds great here!
Planning a Michigan trip next year to visit family anyway, and they have a cabin on the Manistee we can stay in.
heh heh heh -- excited already -- keep us all posted on when the MI FI 07 might be happening.

No need to feel bad. Next year is in the works and I will have some possible dates in a couple of weeks.

It was a grand time to be sure. I was there for 12 days and everyone was perfect (except when the road to Kneff Lake ate my muffler!!)
Quality time with quality people is the best way to discribe it.

We were behind Jack on the road to/from Kneff Lake. The springs on his jeep kept up with the road .. the muffler didn't! Was sad to pass it each time, laying there in the dust!
Drew, there's always next year! We missed you (and, I might add, talked about you!), but we'll gt together later! (Headed to Roaring River, Oct 16-20 ... ya'll come!)

I was interested in that, but my question is where is the nearest airport, the trip from Missouri would be around 24 hours, (mapquested it), maybe a bit long of a drive. Can't wait to look at the pictures from Jack.
