I'll give this a try.
Realize that while I'm a Floridian, I've never fished around Jacksonville. From what I've heard, a lot of fishing there takes place in tidal creeks for redfish and spotted...
My goodness! You fellows are like a bunch of old ladies!
Great new look! I like it and think most people will, too. Of course, you'll have some disgruntled people who probably disliked the change from typewriter to computer and from fiberglass to graphite....
Most of the time, people do not like change, but they eventually get used to it. This is awesome and looks very good! What a job!
I'm interested. Keep me posted, please!
I believe in supporting local fly shops. I only wish we had a local fly shop. I'm forced to buy materials online.
I see that you're in WV, but would rather be in Ohio. I grew up in Ohio, but would rather be in WV!
I think it's just you.
I purchased a whip finisher years ago. It was made in India and the instructions were written in English by a non-English speaking India native. Never could figure it out.

All you have to do with spam and unwanted email is to delete it. What's the problem?
Thank you for your kind comments. I don't mind spending a little to buy the scud back material. It comes in different colors and I don't have to mess with cutting plastic bags.
I'm not sure circle hooks are the way to go with many warmwater species. We use them in the salt for fish that attack and pull. You'll have to let us know about your success rate with the circle...
Hare's Ear Pluls by Hareline Dubbin.
I'm not sure where I got it. I ordered it last spring from an online source. I can tell you that's it's "square" lead.
Excellent video. Well done! Thank you for your post and link!
The stuff I use is called Scud Back by Wapsi. Probably the same or similar material.
I usually fish with a 1 or 2 weight.
Getting ready to test them on bluegill and other panfish. Jigs are tied on 1/124-ounce heads.
Scuds are weighted with .17 lead wire.

Good question. I push the Flexi-Chord over the hook and tie it off at the back and just behind the eye. I then epoxy it and allow to dry before going on.
This hasn't happened to me, Larry. Who are "they?"
All you have to do is change your settings.
No problem. But you can change your settings so that you don't get the requests that you don't want.
