For me, it doesn't matter at all that it's from Japan. I would like it same if it came from France, Switzerland, or the USA for that matter. I just like the method. But, I also happen to like Japan...

Finally got that line on the water. Here is my review:http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/showthread.php?51088-Silk-Tenkara-Line
Looks interesting. I wonder if the lid interferes when wrapping the line.
I did a review of them a while back. Good rods for the price: http://www.tenkaratalk.com/2012/02/fountainhead-tenkara-stone-fly-rods/
Everyone will have their preference but for sakasa kebari, I prefer TMC 2499SPBL hooks: http://www.tenkaratalk.com/2011/12/hooks-for-tenkara-flies/
I just think they make great looking tenkara...
Mike, you got me interested in these flies and I think they will be great for tenkara. I haven't fished them yet but I did tie up a few: http://www.tenkaratalk.com/2012/10/snatcher-flies-for-tenkara/
Mike, FYI, the list is back up and updated.
I have the 13 ft. Prosquare and love it. I didn't even know they made a 15 ft. version. Does the handle feel too small for such a long rod?
