Don't you have to sell over $200 before you have to file this 720 form?
Nice looking flies Scott. When I was a teenager, I bought one at Dan Baily's flyshop in Livingston MT. It had what looked like blue raffia for the wingcase.

Am I the only one that has trouble getting solid hook-ups with an extended body? And I would think that the tube underbody would make it worse.
Why does his rod not have any bend to it the whole time? Looks suspicios to me.
My first outfit was a Scientific Anglers system 6 ( with a 7 reel). I purchased them new in the mid 1970's. The line was a brown DT 6 floater, and I still have it.
I think maybe that a properly placed ( and sized) shim washer would allow you to tighten the screw without pinching the spool.
Very cool fly, but I always thought they were called "married".
Blue eared pheasant and chucker.
Thanks for the link fishbum ! I was having difficulty getting there as well.

No net here either. I use barbless hooks, reach down with my hemostats, and twist/flip it out.
Oh Yeah , now it looks like a fly. It may not catch anymore, but it will look better ( to me anyway ) in your flybox.
They look great ! But just a suggestion : you might try adding some deer hair or calf tail ( or somthing ) for a wing on a few.
There has been some good advice given. If you will be reeling with your right hand, then I think that this reel will serve you well. Send me a PM if your still interested and we can work out the...
I have not fished it but rather bought it for the old silk line that was on it. It's right hand wind only and very smooth with an adjustable drag. It's outside diameter is 3.25" and spool width is...
I've got a post WW2 Japaneese made Olympic that looks like it was never used. It's a Pfluger medalist knock-off. I'd ship it to you for $23.

OK, I give up. How do you change modes? Thanks, Russ
Book headed East ;)

2) Evenings along the stream by M. David Detweiler c 1990 - hard cover - library copy - $5 -sold-

I also have many reels that would fit your requirments, both traditional looking ( 3" dia. and 3 3/4" dia.) and automatics. PM me if interested. Oh yeah, your choice $20 shipped
I've never used those bodies but perhaps you could use a little adhesive ( Goop or super glue ) first.
I buy the 1/4" wide stuff and cut it ( split it lengthwise ) to the size I need using a rotary cutter. This way you get twice as much for the same price.
Well, you've left this wide open. Since 9 footers ( in 6 or 7 weight ) are the mosr common, is that what you're looking for? I'd have to check, but I might have something. Russ
Thanks Jax, I figured it was supposed to loosly resemble both: sort of an attractor. The wings look very mayfly-like, and the rest like a caddis.
