2011 CENTRAL WASHINGTON FISH-IN

We will be getting together from May 19th thru May 22nd this year. Fishing the Ford, and local lakes. Pot luck dinner on Saturday evening...*

It's been 13 years since I prowled the banks of Rocky Ford.....I'm envious! :)

Wahoooooooooo!!!!!! I'm coming and I'm bringing a friend too! It's his birthday that weekend which is just another bonus! Can't wait to see everyone!

Z, you might want to call the campground. I just talked to a lady there and she said that nobody had contacted her yet. I don't know if we'll be camping or motelling it, but we will be there!

So, in a month I'll either be standing on the bank of a creek or on my pontoon boat fishing with a bunch of fine, like minded fisher folks...now tell me what beats that thought? Other than actually doing it that is.
I also got my gill box out of storage...love looking at the gurglers and small buggers, can't wait to use them again!

Have a deal for someone going to the WA Fish-In(LGFG). Just found my first floattube(have two other ones now) and will give it to someone attending the Fish-In this year. It's a Browning tube type so might be a good first tube for a kid(Brandon). I will try to post a pic here but never have so if it doesn't work PM me your email and I can send it that way. I don't want to mess with mailing it so will bring it with me. First deserving reply gets it. Blew it up and it holds air fine.

Just over a week to go. Anyone else as excited as I am?

One week! I'm leaving in one week! Is anyone else as excited as I am? I can hardly stand the wait. Already have all my gear packed. I went through all my camping gear yesterday to make sure everything is in order and I can just load and leave on Thursday evening. I'll be heading to Missoula, overnight there, and then to Ephrata.

Leaving in a few days, headed that way. Going to stop somewhere along the way, maybe Pothole Lakes if the is an RV park or place to park there. Have a reservation at Oasis Park on the 18th. See you there.

Z, Any ideas on where to go to fish the Pothole Lakes for a couple days? We may leave on Sunday or Monday before we get to the Oasis.

Kenny & Daffy plus Pistol and myself are planning on leaving the Ranch early Friday AM. We plan of setting up the big tent and camping down by the cement bridge like we did last year. Should get in some fishin both Friday & Saturday. Will need to leave around noon on Saturday cuz someone needs to care for the birds and new babies. We do not plan on bringing any hackle for sale unless someone specifically asks for us to bring something.
