About Paypal alerts: I'm sure they're excellent at it because I've got friends who have been alerted by them about problems. I've used Paypal hundreds of times with no problems at all, btw. But here's my main point:
Paypal does NOT ever send you an email alerting you to some problem and ask you to click a link to get into your account. Those emails show up in my inbox every single day. They are always scams. Never ever ever click anyone else's link to paypal. ALWAYS type in the address yourself into the address bar of your browser.

Thank you all,
For all the great info...
And I'll keep it all in mind and leave this thread ( I usually delete a thread after I feel all have gleamed from it what they might). Thankfully after a very long wait....Never had an order take this long to arrive.
It finially did today....and I have to admit,I've not seen $25.00 Go this far when purchasing Fly Tying material's In a good LONG while...As I told Fly Tyers Dungeon, In my email to let them know I recieved my order.
I'm Sorry to all,For being so paranoid, I have in the past had some bad experiences while buying online,And this seemed like familiar territory.
I won't say I won't order againin the future,and if anyone else were to,I'd have to say.
That you may want to allow themsome extra time for the shipping...with there prices...And the shear amount of material in each of their packages...I was suprised to say the least,Most places charge three times the money for half the amount of product..I can see how and why , they might have a hard time keeping up..If a good amount of ppl know of these things....But things are resolved...and I feel much better....

Bill;
I've been following this thread with some interest as I do a lot of online shopping.
(Did break down and meet up with ohiotuber for a day at Cabela's in Dundee. $50.00 for gas but the trip was worth it!)
I get 10 or 12 requests a week to varify my Ebay or PayPal account. I have neither! I did a couple of years ago and when my credit card expired so did my accounts. Renewed the card but not the accounts. How many people get scammed into reporting all their information?!

Good q, Jack,
As I've just recently opened my paypal account..I may have had one previously...I've never verified it...the only time I get askd to is when I'm in the site it's self...when they send me their Recipts....But I will in the future watch for and be aware of this happening....Thanks all.

Hey guys - for your interest, when I got scammed by "Paypal" look-alike I didn't give them any information. I did get asked to click on their link to verify which I did go look at, but decided it didn't look right so declined to go any further.
However even that was apparently enough and there have been several attempts to charge items to me that obviously have originated from these crooks. I don't know how they were able to access my details from merely entering the site, but I thank Paypal for alerting me to it and in fact being on the ball enough to not charge me anything.

I get emails all the time from "Ebay & Paypal"...I NEVER open them...delete immediately! My rule is to never open a business site from my email. I will occasionally go to "my favorites", bring up the site, & see what, if anything needs done. ANYTIME you see an email that asks you to verify information, TRASH that puppy!
I have never had a problem with either.
