Your Desktop

Most of us have seen this thread a hundred times, but I think it is kind of interesting and gives us a chance to show off some pictures that we like.

So, post a pic of your current desktop or the picture that is used as your current desktop. Here are mine: The first is my PC at work, second is the one at home.

This is my oldest son with my parent’s dogs Dan and Meg.

Little Pigeon Creek, GSMNP, TN.

I use this one.

The kids were playing outside at their grandparents, and decided that mud is fun! We had to take pics before cleaning them off, and I stuck them together for a desktop picture. It makes me smile every time. I get lots of comments at work about it, too. To me, it depicts the essence of being a kid.

Here is my desktop picture taken on the North Umpqua in Oregon. Thanks, George, for the memories.

Tossup between one of these…currently using the second.

Here’s one of mine. It’s a photo of my grandson who lives in Washington state. I’ll let you fingure out which one he is.

My Son, Michael and I having lunch on our Famous “River of Thanks”… :tieone:

Oak Creek above Sedona…

The first photo is my current desktop - from my trip last week to the Forks of the Big Lost.

This is the one I had up until last week - from a hike in the Lemhi Mountains a while back.

Really enjoying the desktops already posted. Some great photos of beautiful country.

Thanks for starting the thread, Ryan.

P.S. With a little luck, maybe Merriam Lake will be up next week ??

Here’s the one I’ve been using for the past couple of years…the latest world record brook trout. As it turns out, shortly after falling in love with that fish, I met the gentleman who caught it. I pulled up next to him at a stoplight, introduced myself (he was familiar with me, as I’d e-mailed him previously), and then we chatted for almost at hour at the local sporting goods store. GREAT GUY! …and SMALL WORLD! He lives in Canada, I’m in Iowa. What were the chances??

Home fireworks:

I’ve used this one more than any. Sharing the secrets with Z, on the Lochsa River at the '07 Idaho Fish-In.

heres mine

A favorite mountain stream who name eludes me.

These two images frequently appear on my desktop. The top one is a view of the Tetons and other is a scene at the Hyatt Regency Wyandotte Inn  at McMasters Bridge on the Ausable. Probably not great photography but soothing.

MikeL? Where is that photo from? At least the country? S

I use this one on my work computer. It’s my son on the Middle Prong (Tremont) of the Little River in the Smokey Mountains.

This one is on my home computer. It’s an under water shot at the headwaters of the Henry’s Fork in Idaho.

This is my current work desktop, an underwater photo of a recent catch. Our home computer usually has a photo from our Cayman Island trip.

This has been mine for a while:

I took the photo early one morning while fishing on the Grand River (Ontario) .
