yellowstone book reccommendations?

I’ve never been to Yellowstone, and may never get to go. That don’t keep me from watching almost every show about the park that comes on TV. Since I’ve started fly fishing I would love to get a chance to fish the park. Which has got me to wondering about all the many streams in the park. So, with all that said, what books would you recommend about fishing in Yellowstone?

ps - despite what Richard says, you can fish something besides a Trude Coachman and catch fish, although they do work pretty well :wink:

ppps - fishing aside (and the fishing can be pretty good), there’s no place on Earth like Yellowstone. If you can, visit; you won’t regret it.

Thanks guys, I realize the web has great info and obviously a lot of great people and sites, but I just like a good book. Guess I’m old fashion, but I knew there would be people here that had actually been there and know where to find the best books.

By all means get out there once in your life. It was my first major trip after retiring. I always say if God retires, he will retire in Yellowstone. The place is beautiful.

There are two places that MUST be on everyones bucket list, Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon will just blow you away with its vastness and rugged beauty. Yellowstone is just beautiful and has so many different areas that you could spend a month there. Most people just think of the geysers, but that is only a part of it. There are the waterfalls, the canyon, the rivers (and fish), Lake Yellowstone, mud pots, wildlife, hiking, fishing, etc, etc,etc. So quit dreaming about it and GO.

I used Craig Mathiews book mentioned above. It gives you pretty much all you need to know.
