Yellow mustache

In the last two issues of On The Water magazine there have been articles on landlock salmon fishing. In both articles the “Yellow Mustache” and “Orange Mustache” flies are mentioned .

Anybody know how to tie these? I cannot find a recipe anywhere.

Thanks

That’s one of Charlie’s flys.
I know it’s main ingredient is palmered marabou, but I’ve never seen one.
If he doesn’t see this, ask here;

:smiley: Thanks, dudley–i will join the CFFA and post there

Although I was a bit off I see you got your answer from the source.
CFFA is a fine club and not too far from your area to join
Hope to see you there.

The Yellow Mustache looks like a great landlocked or brookie streamer. the link above will take you a a new site and if you go to the GALLERY Carlie has posted the fly and recipe there.

Tied up several this morning–not too difficult to tye—pretty in the vise–I hope effective on the water
