gel spun or dacron , 20-30lb , 200-600 yds
Check out ebay for dacron line and spectra line. also do an internet search for dacron/spectra kite line ( real cheap) call it something other than fly line backing and the price goes down.

I have new 300 yd spool of 30# Power Pro Vermilion Red that I was going to use as backing on a smaller reel. I started putting it on the reel and changed my mind. Bought it off of ebay and can’t send it back. I paid $26.99. I would like $21.00 which includes regular mail USPS.
