It has rained here all night and is still raining this morning. Considering our water levels are 2’ below normal for this time of year due to the lack snow over the winter i hope that it rains for a week.

Right after i posted this it started snowing and is still coming down at a pretty good clip so time for a new tune…
Jamie, I can understand your joy. We had had a lot of rain here in Idaho. Good snow, too. It rained hard yesterday. Some people are so tired of rain and high river levels, but I’m delighted.
We had 6 straight years of drought. A few years ago, we were 33% of normal. We live in a desert (11.75" avg). The rain and snow are filling our lakes and aquafers. The rain and snow now fills our rivers all year long, and we use that water. Last time I looked, we were 136% of average. Another year like this, and we just might break even.
In a few months, the heat from Arizona and Mexico will be here. We will be begging for any drop of moisture. (One year, the last rain we got was mid-April. It didn’t rain again until after Halloween.)
Well here is the weather break down for the day for here in Digby.
When i woke up this morning it was raining after a few hours it turned to snow noon time came and went with … snow mid-afternoon brought slightly warmer temps and…rain currently it is about 7:40 pm here and it is down to just a light sprinkle.
All in all i would have to rate the day a day (sorta like a 5 star day)
