Need help finding a Wood River tackle bag. They do not make them anymore but I’m hoping to find someone that does not need it or knows (Wood River Co. Former Owner) Pete Ross’ email address or Ph#. (I read online that he had some leftover stock in his garage back in 2007)

I saw this earlier and I would prefer the shorter version which is 8-9" long (Trout) versus the 11" long (Salmon?). Also it is missing the waist belt.
Anyone know of another bag for sale or know how to get in touch with Pete Ross?

I knew Pete & Vanessa Ross pretty well since I own lots of their products and even designed an accessory for the bags, but they dropped off the Earth when the business shut down. Even an acquaintance in the UK who dealt with Pete professionally hasn’t heard from him. I gave up trying to contact them as I figured they just wanted to be left alone.
As to the rumor about stuff in the garage; I’m pretty positive there is no “stash in the garage” because I know how long my orders took to build near the end. At that time Pete was focusing on his latest float tube creation because the knock-offs were impacting his bag sales. He also had long lost his “seamstress” and was building bags by himself as they were ordered and working a day job to pay the bills. I’m sure if he had anything to sell he dumped it a LONG time ago for the cash since the business has been gone for more than 3 years.

I hope that someone with a bag that’s not in use will reply. The chances of me checking ebay when one is available is pretty slim. I will continue with both avenues until I succeed. Thanks for the info.

I second this suggestion. I bought their Big Fanny pack and wear it more as a hip/sling pack. The fact that they make all their products from old breathable waders is good for the enviroment.
