Where do you run into these with that coloration ?

AS I said, when it hits the water it darkens. I use darker dubbing as well.
Flavs on the Fork.
The dubbing I used yesterday is the Deleware River Club BWO.

…have a gray-ish cast to their olive/brown coloration…due, I believe, to the headwaters flowing through and over granite:
