I received a package yesterday from Bob Jacklin of Jacklin’s Fly Shop in West Yellowstone. We have developed a friendship over the years as I greatly admire his fly tying/fly fishing. He is a wonderful man.
The package contained these Green Drake Adults and Green Drake Cripple/Emerger patterns. It was a wonderful gift and included a personal letter suggested that maybe we could fish a half day together this coming summer.
We met him in the shop once and visited about the big fish he caught down where we were fishing - he was really nice to us.

I met Bob a couple summers ago whilst staying at Campfire Lodge, just downstream from where he took that huge brownie. Great guy and very warm and friendly.
