I own a few of them. Wife and I both wear them. It’s great in Summer. It is very breathable…doesn’t cut the wind much even. Don’t expect it to help keep you warm…just dry. Due to their extreme lightweight construction, they are not overly durable. But for what they are they are very well made. Just don’t expect to wear it while crashing through streamside brambles. Think of it kind of like Frogg Toggs.
I purchased 2 of them when they first came out for use by clients when I’m guiding. They work well for those quick showers that have a habit of coming up in the afternoons in the Rockies, but I wouldn’t use them for cold, sustained rain; got to go with Goretex then. I loaned one to LF & JC at the Idaho Fish-In this year to use one afternoon.
They’re very light and fit easily into a back pocket on a vest.
