Just got back from the Sow Bug Round-up at mountain Home Arkansas. The
‘show’ was ok but the fishing on the White River was Super! In probably 10 hours of fishing I brought over 30 rainbow to hand, They ranged from 10" to 18" & all were released to do it again. Olive buggers were a good fly to start & I’m glad I brought a good supply. Did ya ever wear one completly out? Anahoo, when buggers stopped working a blue & white midge about 10" under a foam indicator rang the dinner bell. At one point five fish were raised on seven casts! A little bitta heaven!
If ya haven’t tried it, do so.

Sounds like a good day. Unfortunatly ive never been lucky enough to catch enough fish to ruin a single bugger, but i hope to one day :D.
Like that White River don’t ya…
Naw. I love it!!

Bet you were one tired, hungry and thirsty fly angler when you came off the water ?? and happy, too !!
Just the way it should be.

Love Bull Shoals campground site no 14 with a few steps behind the RV to the water. Never did catch the big brown that stayed buy my feet. And of course a olive wolly bugger is the fly to use. BILL
