Haven’t had a fshin’ report since June 10 - did I miss someting?
If im not mistaken, he and his wife are on vacation.
TT
I’d bet he’s out fishing.
Vacation? He lives where I spent my vacation last year. His life is a vacation!!! Ha! Ha!
… and a bunch of hiking / exploration reports over the past two and a half years, it was time to leave the camera at home and end the day putting away gear, not sitting at the keyboard.
Doing the reports and carrying on the conversatons with the folks that joined in was a very satisfying and rewarding experience. But it had to come to an end at some point, and it has.
Thanks for asking, Karen.
John
P.S. Now back to my regularly scheduled vacation and more fishing.
Hi John, very sad to hear no more reports or pics from your fishing adventures. I have enjoyed your reports over the past few years and often when things are just not going well and I cant get to the water I have at least been able to tag along with you on your trips, so thank you very much for all the reports and the pics and the fly recipes.
All the best.
Mike.
Thanks for all the reports, pics and recipes, enjoyed it all
Ah John…I know all good things must come to an end but damn I was not looking foward to this one. Many thanks for all the reports and vicarious thrills I have enjoyed over the last few years! Your reports will be missed.
Bernie
So sorry John, I didn’t see that coming.
Hugs,
LF
I certainty hope no one has insulted this fine gentlemen and our friend John Scott.
Of course John you need not have any reason other than what you stated and I accept that.
I only mention this because I have seen many fine folks break from here due to inconsiderate and or rude comments
that do not represent the FAOL majority by any stretch…
It is nice to have Johns reports for all to see, they are indeed part of our FAOL treasures… nuff said
Except be well John, I have your number and we will one day fish together again…
That is John on the left with one of his many fishing partners, John wishes he could catch fish
like this one… whats that your thinking John? then prove it lets see a new photo…lol
be well my friend and stay safe, get a walking stick will you! lol
Ivery much enjoyed your reports John, I do hope here and there one will pop up on here…:):)
Hey John,
It hasn’t been THAT long and “they’re” are already clamoring for your input. I only dream ( well, maybe not dream) "they’ll wonder where I went. I’m just sayin. FAT CHANCE ( again, I’m just sayin)
Mark
Give the man a breather folks, it’s in his blood I am sure we will get guest spots and reports, he and the area he lives in are too great not to!
Mr John Scott;
I too will sorely miss your reports. Always well written and FANTASTIC pics.
Thank You John
P.S. At least we have the archives
Thanks to you John, I was able to see parts of this great country that I will probably never be able to afford to go to.
Thank you so much for all your time and great reports.
Thanks, my friend…
John,
Would like to thank you for all the efforts and hard work you put into all of your reports. Always looked forward to seeing them and the beautiful places you fished. Keep in touch.
Beaver
John,
I just got into your thread in time to see it descend down the pages of the interweb.
I sorely regret not having better timing while in Montana. It would have been a highlight of the trip to fish with you.
Please, where you feel appropriate, give us updates about your life and the country you live in.
Prayers and thoughts. Hope all is well and look forward to hearing more from you!
Scott
Great photos, interesting perspectives, and variety of techniques and patterns, plenty of feedback… You’ve got a great thread going, John!
In contrast, I feel like I’m talking to myself most of the time on my thread! he he he
Hi John,
Like many, I’ve really enjoyed your reports. Thanks for taking the time to share your experiences with us.

John,
You are missed.
I hope to hear from you soon. If it’s just a “private” PM, that’ll do.
Mike
