Just wondering if Roger is okay since I haven’t seen a new Native Waters column in several months? Anyone know what’s going on?

I haven’t seen Roger post or write for some time. Same is true for Flats Dude. I don’t know why they have stopped posting here and wonder as well.

but I am still confused as that article is from January 15, 2006 and last I checked, it is February,26, 2007…at least in Michigan.

Both have decided not to write for us anymore.
That’s too bad. They were more than enjoyable to read; thought provoking, memory proding, and a wealth of information. Many times the high point in my week, and 99% of the time invoking a hearty laugh or tear. 
PLUS, now that my heart’s beating again … I’m glad they’re not dead.
Roger’s melancholy only surpassed my own. @ :lol:
The main thing is Betty, we still have YOU!

Dave Micus moved to Montana, and if you haven’t been reading his articles on the ‘adjustments’ he’s making you’ve missed some good stuff.
We have added three new writers. Neil Travis, retired Judge from Livingston, Montana (From A Journal By…), Dave Pearson (black gnat)from PA, (Hemlock Headwaters), a fine musician who will be writing mostly about ‘moving water’ in his region, and Carl Pudlo, Colorado, (South Platte Chronicles) writing about the South Platte.
If you’ve missed any of these you’re missing some really good writing - and information!

I agree, some of the recent additions to the site are wonderful writers. Neil hits home with every single article he writes.
Still I miss my old buddy Roger’s ramblings. Maybe someone could talk him into changing his mind and writing some more stuff.

I’m glad you wrote this Post because for some reason I have been wondering what happened to Roger.
There was no member that I could ask and I didn’t feel it was my business to ask LF and JC.
I hope he is doing OK!
