 We should arrive sometime on Tuesday. I will be the bald headed guy from Minnahsoooooota. Do me a favor and donāt let on to the young lady that Iām with that I am the bald headed guy from Minnahsoooota. Thanks. Craig (Chub) & his charming child bride Susan
Marco there is also a ferry from Muskegon to Milwaukee and back. You would still be well South and West of Grayling when you get here but it might pay off in time and gas.
Rainbowchaser,
Thanks for the information. I looked into it and it would save me neither time nor money. It would still be a total of about 7 hours from home. The cost one way would be about $200 . I agree that the āoceanā voyage adds a bit to the experience but wouldnāt be worth it for us.
If I had more time, I would definitely opt for the cruise though.
Thanks again,
Mark
marco, My wife has tried really hard to talk me out of taking the boat over on the way back. We are taking that boat. Iām really looking forward to it. I will agree with you that it is spendy but I think it will be worth it. Iāll give you a full report.
Iāll be leaving Charlotte on the 11th. or 12th. I have a pile of family in Michigan but might just truck right past them to wet my waders in The Holy Waters!
Iāll be kind of scarce the first part of the week as Iāll be staying in Lewiston and commuting. This might be the best time for the Wakely float.
The second part of the week is still up in the air as to where Iāll rest my head, but Iāll be there!
I am so danged fired up!
When I get to Kneff Lake I will call ohiotuber and have him post my campsite number.
I will stake out a couple of spots for those of you comming in that weekend. I also hope to get one of the large sites nailed down as it will make a great gathering spot.
Just hope that the weather cools down!!
