Just read your story and loved it!! Very well put and brought back memories from when I started tying some 10 years ago. I, like you, do not like to sit and tie just one pattern over and over. I will tie at least a half doz. of a pattern that is working for me to put in my fly box or by the doz. if I am tying them for the local fly shop or someone special. Great job and enjoy FAOL. Glad you enjoyed the story and thanks for the compliment. I look back on my youth and think, “Man, I could’ve been fly fishing all that time!” I’m going to be 44 next month. Better late than never, I guess.
