Do I dare ask how you managed to drop 2-3"? I work out hard everyday. There isn’t a night that I don’t do my 12 oz kurls. G

Anglerdave;
No sugar for starters. And, I mean no sugar!! 5 grain low carb bread, “Lite” everything, no salt (well very little. My sugar level was 333 and in 11 weeks I brought it down to 140! Black coffee, salads, no colas, ets.

NO COLA??? I’d be asleep on my keyboard in no time. NO COLA?? You’re a better man than I.

Good on ya Jack,

Thats some good numbers. Not easy for

sure but you can take pride in what you’ve
accomplished. Wish I had your will power.
Warm regards, Jim

Jack,
Great job on the healthy habits!
Speaking of kickin’ butts! Did you get the email I sent you about quitting?
Glad you’re feeling so well!!!

There’s almost nothin’ wrong with the first lie, it’s the weight of all the others holdin’ it up that gets ya’! - Tim

Jack, that’s great. Today I went to a lady physical therapist for my shoulder(old injury that I want to cure) and was a little embarrassed to show off my new gut and started thinking this has got to stop! Boy, it will take the kind of willpower you must have. I know you are the determined type by the way you have thrown yourself into rodbuilding and organizing for the fish-in, etc. Way to go!

Greg

Glad to hear about 333 to 140.man thats a big sugar number.Keep it up you don’t want to kill your kidneys.

Jack, keep up the great work…it’s only a few more points down to the “110” magical number…getting that BG down so you aren’t faced with the prospect of taking meds for the rest of your days is a project well worth doing. BTW, I don’t know if y’all have seen the earlier threads on Type II Diabetes but if you don’t do anything else tomorrow, make an appointment w/ your Doc to get a blood test. There are a great many people out there who are in imminent danger of heading down the trail where they’ll lose their eyesight, maybe a toe, or a foot or a leg, etc. etc.

Again Jack, keep it up!! You’ll be more than happy that you did.

There’s snow on the roof but the fire still burns in the oven.

Hey Jack!
Am I gonna recognize you in Michigan on 10/22??..Way to go, skinny!
Mike

Way to go Jack…

Just between me and you… them there waders slide on alittle easier… you agree??

since I moved back to Branson from Neosho… I lost close to 60lbs… me and the wife had to go get me new clothes… I feel great… alway full of energy…
BUT… after loosing the weight… wife said the waders fit me now… that I dont need a new pair…

I was 255 at the first of the year… just last week I was under 200 (197)…

Leonard

Leonard,
57 pounds in 10 months is pretty darned impressive! Good for you!
Mike

Mike…

In Neosho… all I ever did was sit at home… clean house and watch the boy… well the wife worked and went to school (needed someone to babysit)…

since we have been back in Branson…

I had to clean my lots off with chain saw, fire and mower… this lot has a 10% grade… its a good size hill…

when I not at work, or cleaning out more trees… Im on the lake walking maybe 2 miles a day…
