what is this feather called?

They are short and large feathers, mostly used for making poppers; they come in red,and green, and have a very distinctive black rim arround them.

I would like to know what they are called, what kind of bird they are from, and where I can pick some up.

Thanx in advance guys!
chris

Chris,

Sounds like the Whiting Black Laced White hen saddles; they come dyed in lots of colors. Plenty of places carry them.

Scott
