this site has gone bongers. If I try to access anything on here it takes me back to god knows when. Can’t see anything current starting to irritate me. If any sees this and answers I probably won’t be able to see it
Mine isn’t sorting by last post date. Click on the header where it says last post, and it should sort for you with most recent at the top. It’s been giving me fits, too. They have been coming in sorted alphabetically by the post titles.
Old posts are at the top for me too. Glad to see it’s not just a problem I’m having!

I pretty much always use the …“New Posts”…at the top of the page…and so far haven’t noted any change…everything new since my last visit comes up…
the new post button helps, but if you want you can also manually change the options. when you enter a section, for example well say “fly tying”, scroll to the bottom and change the “sort by” to “last post time” and the sort order to “descending.” only thing is you have to change them each time its getting a little annoying. hope that helps some people
I havent had any problems using internet explorer its same as always, what browser are you using that are having problems?

Exactly what I was going to post here - with emphasis on the annoying part of it.
Having said that, and that I also use internet explorer, Eric, I’m sure Ron is working on it and will have it ironed out shortly. Right, Ron ??
Or maybe there is something that I, and others, can do so the various forums just automatically default to the setting we would like for that forum. I like the threads to appear in the “descending” “last post time” from the “beginning”. Maybe I need to be schooled in how to accomplish this ??

I too am having fits. I hope the snafu helps me win the drawing tomorrow.
For some reason the board lost it’s brain on display settings.
I set them all back to a common setting today in the main board config.
You should be able to override them in you User CP.
Click “User CP” in the menu bar above.
Click “Edit Options” under “Settings & Options” on the left.
Scroll down to the big box titled “Thread Display Options”
Set them how YOU WANT.
Been dealing with Doctors appt. and all this last week, so bear with me.

I’m having problems too. I’m using Firefox, but I don’t think that’s the problem. It’s my guess that Ron is working hard to fix the glitch. In the mean time, I’m just using the Last Post option like the rest of us. It’s kind of like we’re all in the same family and one of us has the Chicken Pox. So, we’ll make do till the pox has passed. It hasn’t really bothered me too much, but I work in a place where plan “A” is never implemented.

Very odd. I just scanned the logs and no one has touched those settings but me today, and I just changed the show only 1 day to show em all.
I just reset the default to newest on top / show all / sort by post date
But that was pretty slick… Gotta remember it for April.
Confuses the heck out of everyone that hasn’t explicitly set their preferences in the CP.
All back to normal now here…
