What I Saw While Fishing Yesterday

This little guy was right on the edge of a local lake and I rowed within aboout 8’. Mama was just over a small rise and I had lots of deep water to back away in. Mama never knew I was there.

After a little interested staring he wobbled off on very unsteady legs. It had been a beautifully sunny day and he likely was just hours old. He is a little bull calf. This is on Sand Lake in Anchorage.
