What a way to start off the day!

I took a few hours Friday am before work to hit a few bodies of water and decided I would take the camera. I was a little concerned as a storm had just passed by and it looked like another was on the way. I knew, however, that this storm would make for some great lighting conditions at sunrise. Here are a few that I took. Welcome to work this morning, hope you can get out soon!

This was taken on the way to the water. Just stopped on the road and shot out the window.

I fished this little cove on Alum Creek Res. and picked up a ton of gills on PTN’s and HEN’s. If you look closely on the right side, just by the shadowed reflection, you can see the ripple caused by a LARGE fish that kept coming up in that area. I just couldn’t get out to him!

The next few are of a pond just down the road about 200 yds. This is the pond I was referring to in my recent Time of Day thread in the warm water.

And here is one of my very first small mouth. (I’m slowly being turned into a warm water guy… )

I was fishing for gills with a wooly worm and he decided it looked just right. Thanks for looking!

Ahhh, should all mornings start like this one!! Thank you, Wild One!

Ah, you are seeing the light of being a warmwater flyfisher, grasshopper.
