There are fish to be caught in the Chautauqua and Canadaway creeks. Not like November, but enough to have some fun. You will probably have the creek to yourself. I use large (4s) clouser style bunny hair streamers both white and black with some flash (red, silver or gold). I guess most egg patterns will work but I don’t use them. This fish was caught 1/8, Canadaway at Laona. A freind’s first fish.
Fished one of the small tribs yesterday. The locals refer to it as the “Second Gulf”, Water was clear. Not many fish, saw 9, hooked 4, landed 3. Here are 2, a nice Hen about 24" and a Buck about 27"
