Her lung biopsy was done on Monday at Harrisburg Hospital. We got the results yesterday at about 5:30 p.m. Lesion samples taken from her lungs show no signs of cancer! Test results were negative!
Amy’s doctor wants her to have the PET and bone scan done as well as a bronchoscopy on the other nodules just to rule out cancer 100% and try to figure out what she has going on in her lungs. The doctor is now very certain that this is not cancer. Doc got alarmed because of Amy’s bad family history of cancer along with the fact that images of these nodules/lesions presented all of the appearances of cancer, not infection.
Leave it to Amy to spring a big surprise on the doctors! She always has been one to set her own rules. We are so relieved! This is a miracle and all of you at FAOL made it happen. I’d say our voices were heard loud and clear.
Amy and I cannot find words enough to express the depth of our gratitude to all of you. We sing your praise to God. Thank you and we love you all!
Awesome news…Ty for letting us know…We can all breath easier!!! Lost my father in 91 to a tumor that filled his whole left chest…God bless and keep you both…
Eric,
Thanks for the email & the post! GREAT news, and proof once again of the power of prayer. Seems to me like the FAOL Family has a lot of “pull” upstairs.
Talk to you soon…give Amy a BIG hug for me!
God Bless,
Mike
