Philip
yep, it was a pretty good show, worth watching
Good show, bunch of nice stripahs!
Ya dun well, Dave! Nice of you to mention FAOL too.
Mike
This site’s about sharing!
Cool show Dave, Way to go!
FrankB that was not a stripping box, It was his Poor box from the sunday collections
I can’t wait to see it at 11pm tonight
Philip
I caught the last 15 minutes and it was a great show. They caught some good sized stripers. Good job Dave!
I was right, it was a poor box. He stripped that line in like he was offering gold doubloons, a mere pittance of an offering for the treasures he reaped that day.
Job well done, a Pirate of Pirates
FrankB and Roger thanks for the heads up on the show
Philip
Hey Dave,
Good show. Beautiful area too. I could almost smell the lobster rolls.
Didja get to meet John Barrett??
Mark
Dave,
It really was a good show tonight. You were so relaxed in it and acted like you have been doing shows all your life. Job well done and I really appreciated the fact that you mentioned FAOL. Very nice job and good show. Wish I could have been there. You all had a lot of fun.
Warren
Yeah, Dave. Good show. You are going to have to spend some more of that out-of-season time down on the Gulf Coast chasing Snook and Redfish to cure what ails you .

I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.
I enjoyed it as well. Please thank Kahn and Mike as well for an enjoyable evening. And I don’t even have a snide comment. You’ve got me speechless.
Tonight I’ll raise me pirte bottle in your honor.

I’ve got one.
DAVE MICUS IS A FRAUD…
He has forever blown my image of him as a cheapskate. That looked an awful lot like a Tibor reel to me and those fancy waders and the Orvis stripping basket. What? no old laundry basket tied on with rope??? Sheesh!!! I couldn’t see 'em but I bet there was a fancy pair of Abel pliers in there somewhere. You know, the ones painted like a trout.
That aside I submit that the show was riveting. As good or better than any Walker’s Kay or Spanish Fly episode I have seen. (Seriously) I recorded the show and plan on keeping it.
That is exactly what stripah fishing is like up here. A couple of guys who like each other dirving around aimlessley looking for fish and having a good time.
Cheers Dave. You should be proud of that one.
P.S. You should also let eveyone know that it wasn’t really Massachusetts in the show. No need for you all to come up this way looking for Heaven. It really isn’t that beautiful here.
OK Gents,
I can’t get the show here in the wilds
of the SC swamps. I do have DVD and VCR
capability. Is it available on disc or
tape? Warm regards, Jim
The show was great to watch. It was an accurate representation of how my season went this year in Maine. We were inundated with small fish like what was being caught on the show.
For those of you that have never fished the surf for Stripers. Give it a shot its very rewarding. Be warned though, Stripers from the surf is probably the most difficult way to catch Stripers. One really has to do their homework to ensure success from the beach.
Kudo’s to Dave. I probably run into him someday.
Micus, RW here
Saw the show on OLN last night. Great job.

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words! I’ve spent the day dodging papparazzi (that’s eye-talian for police, right?)
I have to stress, it was a ball to do!
I caught the second airing last night at, great show!
You did us all very proud Dave. And we do appreciate the FAOL mention as well. I don’t have contact info for Mick or I would formally thank him as well. I believe in all the years we’ve been watching fly fishing tv over the years it is the FIRST program on stripers we’ve seen. Put a feather in that hat.
