I called Warren last night and asked him If he would like to go fish the Elk early this morning. Well as you can see by the pictures he joined me and he caught his first trout of the year " 5th Picture". We were their for about 3 hours and he caught 6 trout and 3/4 other fish. He was a happy man. He had a hard time wading the river, but he took his time and “Got’er done”…LOL He finished his fishing day by going home and tied a few fly’s. He said today Deb had on a big smile. If anyone is really interested I landed 5 trout.
Thanks for posting this! I was wondering how Warren was doing since there hasn’t been an update in a while. It must have been a blast to be back out in a stream again casting & catching fish after so long and through so much. The water looked like it was at a pretty good flow too!
Wayne has been so helpful and I appreciate it so much. I have to be very careful with wading because I am so weak and my walking is not what it use to be and will not be for awhile. I cannot wade where the water is pushing a lot or deep. My doctors would not be happy with me if they knew I went out but I just needed to try it out and I do have more surgery coming up in a month or shorty after a month which will eliminate wading for awhile. Right now, I just need to take my time and not over do it. I really appreciate every one. Thank you all…
Absolutely wonderful! Hopefully this trip, and maybe a few more, will get you through your next surgery, Warren!
Nicely done, Wayne! Great pictures, too.
