Warren P.

Just got off the phone with Warren, he continues to have health challenges and is not really to wade at this time. I will not try to explain what he has been through but it has not been pleasant. If you have ever met Warren you know he is not a large man, he told me he was just over 170 lbs. when his ordeal started and is down to around 136 lbs. now. I am sure your prayers will be appreciated.

Thanks Uncle Jesse, I have thought about Warren several times and am sad to hear that he is not feeling well. Praying he will get better and can get back on the river.

I haven’t had much personal interaction with many of the members here, but Warren is definitely one of the good guys. Wishing you all the best Warren!

I wish Warren well and will continue my prayers for him. It’s sad to know he is not in the best of health.

Thanks Uncle Jesse for keeping us informed.

I’m wishing you well, Warren. I’ll continue to pray for you and yours.

I continue to pray for you, Warren. Keep fighting!

During his ordeal, during the first surgery I think, Warren suffered a stroke and has significant memory loss. His colon cancer also spread to his lungs and he travel to Vanderbilt Medical Center regularly for chemo treatment. He told me his wife was told at one time his chances were 30% for surviving.

Uncle Jesse do you have any updates on Warren you can share? No pressure to reply just wondering how Warren is doing.

I haven’t talked with him recently. I need to be reminded sometimes to call, etc., I will be in south Louisiana for the next week or so with my 92 year old mom.

Warren & Family remain in my Prayers.

Mike

I hope your mom is doing well.

Physically Mom is doing very well for her age. She is fiercely independent and not really that happy about her children deciding she needs to stay with one of them. She would like to still be driving her big Mercury, but thankfully I was driving Sunday when the power steering quit. Considering most of my friends no longer have their moms those are good problems to have. She has four generations that call her mother or grandmother, actually Mawmaw.

Sorry to hear that Warren continues to struggle with his health issues. Growing old is not for sissies. We will keep him in our thoughts and in our prayers.

Sounds like a heck of a lady!

Uncle Jesse, have you talked to Warren lately? If so, how is he doing?

I have not talked to Warren lately. I was thinking I needed to call him recently. I need to find an excuse to get up there and go fishing when it warms up, but Jim Smith invited me down to fish his lake 5 years ago and still haven’t made that. I will correct that this year, I promise me.
