WARNING - Bad Fishing Sites

WARNING

Someone on here posted a website to Yorkshire Game Angling in the UK. I went there and made a purchase. Prior to that, I was quite pleased that I never get spam.

They obviously did something with my e-mail address as I began getting solicitations from many other fishing shops in the UK. I blocked them all.

However, that process somewhow exposed me to the world. I now get spam from many different countries. I also get spam from several different sites everyday, that somehow have a way of continuously sending me e-mail from a different site.

I have to block and delete many messages every time I access my e-mail.

EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE INDEED A FISHING BUSINESS, I RECOMMEND NEVER ACCESSING THEIR SITE.

I regret the day I did. It’s gotten to the point where I am going to change ISP’s and create a new e-mail ID>

Before you change, email them again. Tell them you are sorely disapointed in them and that you have put the info of their spamming out on the web to other fishermen.

Might not do any good at all, but it MIGHT ( I doubt it, but) make them see the error of their ways.

Can’t hurt.

Gem, something of a hassle, but try setting your email filter to ‘exclusive’, that way, only those on your allowed and/or contacts list can get through and everything else is deleted automatically.

Cheers,

Thanks Mr. Moose.

I will look into that.
