Here is my recipe for my grubby bugger. It is a basic woolly bugger with a bead head and a curl tail. I’ve used it several times out and have caught everything from bass to carp and even a greedy bluegill with them.

Hook: size 8
Head: cone shaped bead head
Body: chartreuse pearl chenille
Hackle: chartreuse
Thread: chartreuse
Tail: back end off of a 1" curl tail grub

I changed my mind. My pattern is TBD. But I’ll leave this one up in case anyone is interested.

On a side note:
Bjantzen: I’ve been trying to reach you by e-mail re:boa swap. Shoot me an e-mail ASAP.

If you still have room, I’d like in with the Greenie Weenie. I’ve been meaning to tie up some of these for myself and what better way to force me to start tying…

You are in. 1 spot left for the first person to speak for it.

Look at my favorites in the panfish archives and let me know which fly you would like. about part 305
