I personally have no experience with either product. THe over boots look OK. I’m not sure about the waders – seem like they are a nylon type material. I think you get what you pay for with waders and there is nothing more aggravating than standing waist deep in the river in the middle of winter - steelhead fishing – and have a leak. I would be leaning to the gore-tex type products made with several layers of thickness in the lower leg and Knee and seat – so when you march through the berry bushes you don’t puncture them.
See what others have recommended before trying them out.
After doing some more searches on the site I ended up getting the Orvis Endura Waders and the Orvis clear water wading shoes. Both seem to have positive reviews from the anglers online.
Be carefull with Chota, I bought a pair for about $90 with my discount, and the heels came off. I called them and they said it’s an older model 2004 and I bought them in 2005. I used them one season. They would not stand by their product and wanted to send me new heels & that I would have to pay for them plus shipping.
They said they have a new system to put the heels & soles on the shoe and that should stop the heels from coming off.
I bought Corkers.
I have that exact model of Chota boots. I have fished them for several years, 3 yrs., and have had no problems with them. I am not familar with their waders though.
