anyone have or fish this area. would like to visit this area. need some good go to locals .places to eat and stay at.things or events i might be interested in.all help would greatly be appreciated.

Tell me where you plan to stay and I’ll help you out. What type of lodging/camping you are looking for? What type of fishing? We have it all: native brookies, big browns, wild rainbows, smallmouth, etc.
I have fished everywhere in West Virginia from the Maryland border to the southern Virginia border and all parts in between.
Elk Springs Fly Shop was recommended, the Elk is nice but it would not even be in my top 25 streams in WV. In addition, there is a MAJOR concern that the owners of the shop intend to privatize their small section of the stream - can you say Donnie Beaver?
