After a long rain soaked spring the Lake waters are warming and the B G’s are hungry. Last Sunday, my wife & I fished a shallow bay in Norht Hero vt. and lost count of the fish caught.
While my wife won’t give up her spinning rod and jig I caught an equal amount on the a size 10 boa leach. Several yellow perch, rock bass and large mouth were also caught making a fun morning.
I had tried seversl other flys but the only producded 1 or 2 fish each. It sure was a day when the leach ruled.
very nice, I would suggest trying the Usual by Fran Betters in the colors and size of your hatches and it works great. Snowshoe feet in various colors and floats forever.
