Hey Rick,
Good to hear buddy. Just keep on keeping on.
Enjoy your vacation but don’t get hung up on
those cold water kritters.G Warm regards, Jim
That’s great, Rick. Glad to hear you are catching some :).
While down south in Punta Gorda at my sister’s condo over the weekend, I caught about 4 keeper Mangrove Snapper and my brother-in-law caught a nice 19.5 inch Redfish, those 5 are now in the freezer. Those were caught with spinning tackle on live Threadfin though, not on the fly rod. I did manage to catch a saltwater catfish on the 9wt. using size 1 gold spoon flies while trying for Redfish. But that was all I was able to get on the fly rod in the briny. Even with sun-block, I did get a bad case of sunburn though :(.
Have a great time, Rick. Safe journey and take care.

Rick;
Have fun and hurry back before I run out of quotes!!
Sorry I missed Sat & Sun but I was off celebrating my birthday! (Poor Excuse)
Rick, if you need a WW fix, north of Denver on I=25 you’ll find a series of WW ponds. When I lived in CO that’s where I’d go for mine. Age keeps me from remembering the name of the ponds and the exact location. JGW
