Hi guys, just a quick note to let you know that this memorial day Wellington hosted some Vets from the many many Marines who spent time here in NZ before Island hoping there way up the Pacific in WW11.

I for one am pleased to see them here, I wish I had the chance to get down there for the service.
On memorial day it is good to say THANKS to al those who made this part of the world free.

It’s a good time to give Thanks to all those who made ALL parts of the free world free. It was primarily the US combined armed services along with our British, New Zealand and Aussie friends who made it happen particularly in the Pacific along with the Soviets in the rest of the world.
