Update on closing of Pennsylvania parks and budget

A budget deal has been struck. Our parks reopened today and state employees returned to work after a one day furlough. Thankfully our state employees will not have to face a long term furlough without pay. Here is the latest from a local news source:

Now I can get back after those tiger muskies at Little Buffalo State Park. The one hanging on the wall of the park office is 51 inches, 41 pounds!

It’s too bad we can’t do anything to save the vacations that were already destroyed when we kicked visitors to our state out of their campsites.
