…some know I’ve been working on building this rod for sometime, and I wanted to update you on my progress…well I applied the 5th coat of varnish today which may be my last coat (maybe will wait until dry to determine)…before I finish off the finish (clean it up so to speak).

I think it’s looking great! Fantastic job, the only thing I would suggest is to taper the front of your grip to the rod for a more finished look.
